Winning the MFMA Scholarship means so much to me because it will allow me to continue to be a part of extracurriculars and become more involved in the community of students at my school, working to better the student experience. I play an active role as a student leader for the American Institute of Architecture Students, and because of this scholarship I will be able to devote more time to this organization and worry less about how I am going to pay for school expenses. I have always worked while in school in order to pay for necessary school expenses so this scholarship will help ease my workload and will allow me to focus more on my studies and extracurriculars. I am deeply grateful for your financial support and the opportunities the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association has allowed me to take.
