John Tepsa

John Tepsa was hired by Connor in 1980 working out of their corporate office in Wausau, Wisconsin as their Corporate Lumber Controller. Within a few months, John took over the Flooring Sales Manager position.

In 1987, he joined Floyd Shelton for the start-up of Superior Floor Company as the Sales Manager. In 1992, he moved on and became the Sales and Technical Director at Action Floor Systems.

In his maple flooring career John established strong bonds with flooring contractors around the United States and was known for his ability to analyze job site problems and issues and develop common sense solutions that supported the floor installer and solved problems for the end users. John’s common sense  and practical approach to issues made him a highly respected industry engineer.

John retired on December 31, 2012.
