Max Stefanski
Michigan Technological University
Major: Forestry
This scholarship means a lot to me and my educational journey because it will allow me to better focus on my forestry studies and worry less about the financial burden associated with higher education. It is especially meaningful coming from an association and industry with such deep ties to forestry in the Upper Peninsula where my studies are conducted.

Sidney Cobbs
James Madison University
Major: Architecture
Receiving the Maple Flooring Manufacturing Association Scholarship has been an incredible honor. With the support of MFMA, I am given comfort in knowing I will be able to put forth money for required supplies in my classes. Because of the kindness of this association, I am able to get the most out of my courses and excel in my academic journey as I become an architect. In addition to the monetary support, being chosen by such an accredited association is an inspiring achievement alone. The fact that I can stand out in what I am sure is a pool of highly competitive students provides me encouragement in knowing that I am on the right track for a successful academic year. Thank you MFMA for making my goals achievable!

Tate Ondrik
University of Tennessee Martin
Major: Water and Soil Conservation with Foresty Certificate
Thank you so much. I cannot tell you know much I appreciate your support of my education. When I chose my college, I needed a strong natural resources conservation program, with a forestry option and a university rodeo team. As this was only available out of state, this scholarship will help me to get a degree I can use in the future to promote sustainable industries the preserve our open land.

Avraham Penso
Yale School of Environment
Master of Forestry
I’m very grateful to the MFMA for this scholarship. Their support will enable me to make the most of my final year as a Master of Forestry and take advantage of opportunities to gain practical forest management experience. With the help of this scholarship, I'm one step closer to building a career in sustainable forest management.

Ethan Fall
The University of Tennessee Knoxville
Major: Architecture
Receiving the MFMA Scholarship creates opportunities for my future. As a freshman at the University of Tennessee, I've made it my goal to complete my Bachelor of Architecture degree debt-free. This award places me one step closer to that goal, and I look forward to the opportunities that will be available to me without the burden of debt after graduation.
