Opening Keynote Speaker
Marques Ogden

Playing to Win — Again

After being drafted into the NFL in 2003 as an offensive lineman for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Marques spent six years playing in the league with the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans before leaving to pursue a career in construction and contracting.

Marques founded Kayden Premier Enterprises at 27, focusing on commercial construction in the Baltimore area. The company recognized exceptionally fast growth and a promising future in general construction, concrete and demolition, grading sediment and erosion control until a devastating 2 million dollar loss on one project ended in bankruptcy in just 90 days.

Learn how Marques navigated his darkest hours and used hard work, resilience and determination to go from working as a part-time custodian to re-imagining himself as a sought-after entrepreneur in the leadership and coaching space. He parlayed his own life experiences into helping others build success through executive coaching and consulting. A best-selling author of two books, Marques donates his time to help young people in his local community of Raleigh, North Carolina, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He is also the proud co-host of “The Lev & Marques Show”, one of the top 1.5% listened-to podcasts in the world.
